About Binary to Text

Decode groups of eight binary digits into their byte values and return the resulting UTF-8 text.

How to use Binary to Text

Paste 8-bit binary groups separated by spaces or line breaks. ToolFlow validates every group, converts it to a byte and joins the bytes into the decoded text.

When Binary to Text is useful

  • Reverse binary examples back into readable text.
  • Inspect byte-level data from logs or teaching material.
  • Decode output created by the Text to Binary tool.

Practical tips

  • Use exactly eight bits per byte.
  • Whitespace between groups is optional but improves readability.
  • The byte sequence must represent sensible text if you expect readable UTF-8 output.

Binary to Text FAQ

Does the tool accept binary without spaces?

Yes. A continuous sequence is accepted when its total length is a multiple of eight bits.

What happens with an invalid bit?

The converter rejects values containing characters other than 0, 1 and whitespace.
